This item is excellent for organizing a room and very easy to assemble. The four cubes can be put together in any way you want and do not necessarily have to be stacked up as shown in the image. These storage cubes are made of a black wire and use plastic round black parts to hold the cubes together. This product does not require any tools for assembly and only take a few minutes to put together. This item is great for sorting items and maintaining order. It allows you to organize items such as books, shoes, pictures, toys, towels and much more. A lot of users seem to say that they use this storage device as a cage for their guinea pig. I honestly don’t know why you would use this for that but if it works then go for it. Generally these storage cubes are meant to organize and store items. This is the best and most effective use for this product. Some users complain that Whitmor’s product is difficult to assemble and that it does not stay put together, but I actually own a set of these and that is absolutely incorrect.
